Expat life is not all about beaches and bungalows (Vienna)

Dear all,

As an expat one pretty soon realises that moving abroad is not an easy task.

Getting used to new languages, cultures, customs and rules and new ways of everyday life can be stressful. This can also have an important impact on us and the way we function and perceive the world around us.

When moving to another country the change of our outer reality can also bring decisive changes to our inner reality. This may lead to various kinds of problems and crises in our personal and social life. At moments of big life changes, our mind may start functioning in a way that we are not used to. Many issues, also those from our past, may come to the surface and we suddenly find ourselves in a situation that may seem out of our control.

We deal with that kind of problems in different ways; one of them is also psychotherapy.

Psychoanalysis and psychoanalytic psychotherapy help people overcome:
- crisis situations,
- traumatic events,
- inner blockages,
- self-destructive patterns of behaviour in everyday life, work, love, and it also helps them to:
- go through their life transitions and
- explore their inner world.

I offer psychotherapy in English, Serbo-Croatian and Slovenian. For additional information, please feel free to contact me at Protected content or Protected content .
