Lainzer Tiergarten - Excellent place for trekking (Vienna)

Dear All,

Searching for a place to do some trekking after a previous post, a friend recommended the Lainzer Tiergarten.

The place is excellent: beautiful, well kept and like everywhere in Vienna, visitors help keeping it nice. A very good option if you do not have much time to go very far from Vienna. You can take the U4 to Hütteldof and walk some Protected content to one of the gates.

There are some wild pigs and deers around, there are ways where you cannot access so not to disturb them. It is very peaceful.

The more I know Vienna, the more I like it. No wonder why it got the 1st place in quility of life twice already :o)
