Dear nature lovers,
My husband and I spent many years working as expatriates in Southern Africa and Southeast Asia. We have been back for a long time by now and although we have we a busy social life we still miss the international touch and our friends from all over the world.
We now run an old forestry farm in a pristine region in the North of Austria called Waldviertel. When talking to our neighbor the other day we
found out that his beautiful renovated little farmhouse is going to be for rent soon. So this for us seems to be the ideal opportunity to attract some international friends who enjoy nature and a friendly neighborhood.
We enclose some photos of the house - just in case someone in the expat community happens to look for a weekend home.
The house is about 10km from the city of Zwettl and overlooks fields and woods - there are two farm houses in walking distance.
It has two bedrooms and an open kitchen/living room with a tiled stove and the traditional bench in front of it - a treat on cold winter evenings.
There is a terrace with a brick-built barbecue grill too!
Anyone interested should feel free to contact us (the owner of the house does not speak English too well).
Hope to hear from you soon,
All the best,
