Newbie would like to know Vienna better!

I am a newbie here in Vienna and I would like to get to know this city better.
I moved here from the US last week after almost 8 years of 'american life'. however, I am originally from Italy and now I am very excited about this new Vienna experience. This city seems very interesting with lots of things to do.
