Real estate procedures (Vienna)
I have a question concerning the good practice when renting in collaboration with real estate.
First, I have signed the offer.
Then, the landlord needs to accept your offer - my offer is accepted
I sign the contract.
Till here everything is fine.
Now, they asked my to transfer the deposit and first rent before I get their signature.
I refused as I do not put money in someone bank account if I do not have a signed contract.
Secondly, is this normal that there is no bankaccount mentioned in the rental contract, but I received it my email ?
These are legal questions, I know, but till today everybody told me that is normal practice in Austria to transfer deposit without having a signed contract?
Any feedback from you ?
