Rot-Weiss-Rot (Vienna)

Hi All!

I am wondering how long the Rot Weiss Rot takes? On the website it says they have to make a decision within 8 weeks. I just called the MA 35 and was told my the switchboard phone person that it can take up to 6 months. I had the feeling he would say anything to get me to hang up.

How long does it really take? Can you provide the time it took for you and the month/year you applied? I have heard they have improved in processing times as it is a fairly new work permit. How do I make sure they have my documents and my application is being processed?
