Sony eReader: english books (Vienna)

Hello expats,

I bought the Sony eReader @Thalia, but does anyone know how to switch from the Austrian BookShop of Sony, which in fact does not exist and is replaced by Thalia to the BookShop of Sony of Belgium or UK? I tried so many accounts that finally I ended up with a blocked european account. I created a fully functional US account, but of course this will never work!

Finally, I discovered I could shop with other eBooks shops, as the e-pub format is the most common one e.g. Feedbooks. Great website by the way, but one question left. Is this a legal bookshop as there is no problem at all to switch between countries.
