Velomarathon Vilnius, Augus 21st, 2016

Dear Internations members,

Last week, I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Benediktas Vanagas, the famous Lithuanian rally driver, and founder of Velomarathon, the biggest cycling event in the Baltic countries. This year, this event will be held for the 7th time on August 21st, next, here in Vilnius.

Mr. Vanagas kindly asked me to support this event by actively promoting it. As a representative of a bicycle-mad country, I am more than happy to do so!

The Netherlands Embassy intends to join the event, possibly together with members of the Dutch community in town. We even are producing our own promotional T-shirts for the occasion. 

As of today, there are already more than 4,500 participants who have registered on the site!
