Expat family questions (Warsaw)

We are possibly moving to Warsaw after the summer with two young children. I was wondering if anyone can point me in the direction of some unbiased information on expat infant schools (my son wil be nearly 4 and we need to stay in the UK system or similar) and also on housing options for families, preferably near to school.
We don't necessarily want to live in a gated type community (if these exist in Warsaw, we are moving frim Moscow where this is popular amongst some), but do want to be convenient to school and green areas for the children.
Are there any real dos and don'ts when it comes to choosing an area to live? We as yet don't know Warsaw at all so are absolute novices here.
