Winter is over, stop hibernating, come out. Say something! (Warsaw)

Right. I get to listen to an Australian friend of my Canadian husband - very unhappy about Polish winters but recently a bit more happy about Polish women. A group of native English teachers usually meets for pool night (billiard) or goes to some "undisclosed" locations where they watch rugby or crickett. What are your experiences when you're an "expat" in Warsaw? Do you wait for an invitation from your co-workers at work to go somewhere, or do you explore the town on your own? When I came to Toronto for the first time, getting on a street car seemed like such a big adventure, discovering Roy Thomson Hall and sharing my "revelations" with Tom's suburban family. What are your "exciting moments" in Warsaw - I'm ready to listen and learn. Since you're new in town you'll see more.
