French Classes at Alliance Francaise de Washington (Washington, D.C.)

The Alliance Francaise de Washington DC located North of Dupont Circle (equidistant from Dupont Q Street Exit and Woodley Park / Adams Morgan, on the red line) provides French classes at all levels (group and private), including customized private classes or corporate classes for interested companies, in: hospitality, French legalese, French for business, etc...

The Alliance Francaise also has the only loan library in French language in the mid-Atlantic region with over 10,000 documents (books, magazines, Cds, DVDs) and a digital library called Culturetheque, accessible from Ipads and other tablets.

The Alliance Francaise also has a program of cultural events showcasing French and francophone cultures. This month, on May 22, at 7pm, screening of episodes 5 and 6 of World War 2: Apocalypse. On June 11, discussion in French with Director Dominique Serrand on Moliere's Tartuffe (in partnership with the Shakespeare Theater), then on June17, Laura Auricchio, Dean, The New School in NYC, will come and discuss her new biography of Lafayette.
June 21: Fete de la Musique, outdoor musical festival from 11:00am to 7:00pm on Dupont Circle with multiple bands playing outside for free.
