Meeting new people with family in Metro area (Washington, D.C.)

hi there,

we just moved to fairfax, va and are looking to meet other people preferrably people with kids. our baby girl is 6 months old and we are therefore limited in hanging out all night long.

we love sports such as walking, biking, jogging and swimming. also skiing of course but i guess we have to be patient and wait before we can do that. it would be great to meet other people in the metro area, that have the same interests.

because of the baby we are pretty much stuck with daytime activities as we do not have a babysitter yet.
