Move to Fairfax - Recommendations and Tips needed (Washington, D.C.)

Hello,

In March I will start my new job as an Account Executive responsible for a major oil company in Fairfax...
I saw the positive responses to the request from Konstantin and was hoping to get similar recommendations regarding "good" areas to live around Fairfax. As we move over with a small child (3 months) I would like to live close to Fairfax. Any other tips are welcome.

My first trip to Washington will actually be this week and I will stay over the week-end (Feb Protected content .
Anybody interested to meet on Saturday evening or in the following week?
