Relocating to NZ (Wellington)

Hi Everyone :)

I'm considering relocating to Wellington, as I have a job offer there. I've read mixed reviews on what it is really like to live in NZ. My main worry is the cost of living. Based on what I've read it seems to be very expensive and unaffordable to live in NZ. Please share your experiences.
