New to the area (and Germany) (Wiesbaden-Mainz)

Hi everyone,

I recently moved from Bulgaria, where I had the opportunity to meet great people through Internations and am hoping to do the same in Germany!

I live approximately an hour away from Mainz and was wondering: what activities do you recommend for the weekends in Mainz/Wiesbaden? I know Sunday's aren't as eventful as shops are closed but surely there has to be something that keeps you busy :).
