Tourism in Namibia (Windhoek)

Hello People,

I am living in Austria, and we are planning to travel to Namibia in August for 2 weeks. We have been trying to get the best of our visit and checking all the alternatives. Unfortunatelly, most of the interesting tours leave on Friday, and we arrive on Saturday afternoon. It means in that case, we could take the first tour on Sunday or Monday. We want to go to the Skeleton Coast, Etosha Park, Swakopmund with the possibility to experience the quad-biking activities in theDunes, and if it is possibly to visit the Vic Falls, even if we have to flight there or travel by bus during the evening.

Anyway, it seems the time is to short, especially because the thre first places have tours leaving on Fridays or Tuesdays. We have even think about rent a car an drive ourselves, nevertheless, I a m not sure how safe is there, and if we can get into the national parks without guide.

I would really appreciate some advice.
