It's a volcanic fertile area, with mild climate and gentle hills, characterized by interesting archeological sites: everywhere you can meet prehistorical and etruscan footprints. Here you can also find nature trails, lakes, rivers, paths. At last but not least you can eat tasty typical food and drink very good local wine, in fact Tuscia is an agricultural area, famous for its vineyards,olive groves and legumes.
Our accommodations will be in the medieval Village of Ischia di Castro, born on the prehistorical settlement's caves, next to the Lamone nature reserve at 130km from Rome.
We'll stay in private houses very well equipped and heated,facing the valley(Forra) over the flowing river.
