A Portrait of a Country for Peace

Art and Artists from Colombia with colour are used as a window to portray a country for Peace. The idea to this project was born out of a wish to present Colombia in a different light from what the general public is used to (and sensationalist inclined journalists are no help).

The cultural scene in Colombia is a vibrant one and the painters and sculptors are at the forefront. However, only a few artists like Botero are known internationally.

This project introduces you to eight Colombian artists active in Medellin and Bogota. The Exhibition and sell of art work is taking place ion January 26, in London at the Centre for Spirituality and the Arts.
