Accident of Life

Is life but an accident? A singularity containing every piece of material, every atom, proton and chemical that would ever exist, and from which the universe and everything within it has been created, including us, existed some 13 bilion years ago. This singularity expanded from a minute super dense entity into something in less than a minute in time to being a million, bilion miles across and growing.
Are we nothing but an evolutionary experiment in a maelstrom of chaos. Improbable and accidental?
