"Artificial Intelligence", Analytic Philosophy of Mind and their cultural, social and societal implications (serious discussion only!)

Hello, all of you there worldwide! Maybe during the social lockdown you are also lacking some intellectual food?! ;)

Is there anyone among you who is also interested in exchanging ideas on Analytic Philosophy of Mind (& Brain) topics, which may include fundamental questions in the border areas with psychology and AI?

Just as an appetizer, a very real fundamental question of far-reaching cultural, social and societal importance: Can/will digital systems (in principle/possibly in the future) possess emotions and/or consciousness? And immediately my provocative counter-question: Yes, why not? - The devil is then, as always, in the detail! ;).

And will digital systems then also not possess what we humans call "free will"?

I strongly suspect humanity will be confronted with these questions in the next Protected content (if not before); so many of you will live to see it.

For example, we could arrange to read and discuss current original scientific texts or papers (in English) together.

I can make one or more suggestions for this, but perhaps you have some of your own?

(Please only on a factual, rather academic level, no chatter and no esotericism! - But of course ALL serious and seriously interested (!) people are welcome to participate in the exchange of ideas).
