Are double standards increasing in the world?

Are double standards increasing in the world? Are we more and more refusing from A what we accept from B? Is the world losing its overall logic and its faculty to think?

Is it just a perception created by the cybernetic globalisation, by the fact that anybody can comment on anything? Or an increasing clash of civilisations? Or an episode brought by a temporary higher tension in one region in the world?
