Are faith and reason contradictory?
Today I saw this on the BBC website:
I think it shows how, in order to believe, you have to suspend your powers of reason.
People living in America in Protected content say that they lack the evidence. They simply refuse to see any of the evidence because it contradicts their beliefs.
Of course, I have chosen a comical example of faith overriding reason but the same principle applies to much more serious matters.
It amazes me that anyone could say that they take the bible literally and then decide that an ark was the best way to spend Protected content dollars.
