BA or similar qualification in Event Management, Communications & Public Relations

Hello everyone,

I have been working in Administration for the past 7 years and part of my work has been organizing corporate events. As I am very passionate about the organization of any kinds of events I want to get into that area professionally.

But even with my experience I feel that without the right qualification I won't be able to get my foot into the doorstep. So therefore I am looking into further training on the basis of distance learning where I can get a qualification that's recognized europewide or even worldwide.

I have gone to secondary school and got a degree as a commercial assistant specialized in foreign languages.

I have done some research on the internet but all I could find was a BA in Events Management that takes Protected content fulltime. I also found a course called "diploma event management" that a company in the UK offers, but I'm not sure about it.

As I am currently living in Madrid I'd prefer a school in the UK or Spain but like I said on the basis of distance learning.

Can you recommend any courses or schools? I would appreciate feedback from anyone who works professionally in that area or has got any kind of adivse (is it too competitive? is the pay too low? etc)
