The dear old Honey Hotel on Sukhumvit Soi 19 closed in the first week of January. Thanks for all the memories!

Does anyone know of a reasonable alternative which:
Protected content . Is on Sukhumvit odd-side between Sois 3 and 23, plus Soi 4 (you know why!)
Protected content . Costs less than B2,000 per night
Protected content . Has a coffee shop or restaurant which serves western breakfasts, lunches and dinners, and allows costs to be charged to the rooms, i.e. no on-the-spot cash payments necessary
Protected content . Has a bedside cabinet, with at least one drawer, on both sides of the beds
Protected content . Has wi-fi internet access – not necessarily “free”
Protected content . Accepts UK credit cards.

I have tried Soi 7:
Protected content Best Value Inn. Cash only, grim antiquated little lift, rooms overlooking the soi are noisy, the restaurant is open-air (no A/C & fight the flies), doesn’t serve sweets/afters, and service is very, verv slow. The food comes from elsewhere.
Protected content Inn. No enclosed storage spaces in the rooms – everything is on display to guests, restaurant doesn’t serve sweets/afters.
Protected content Check Inn. The restaurant is open-air (no A/c & fight the flies) and service is very, verv slow. The food comes from elsewhere.

On the internet:
Protected content Miami on Soi 13 has no western food supply, just an entirely separate Indian restaurant.
Protected content Dynasty on Soi 4, but access is poor in the evenings.

Yes, I know that Thai food is really, really great and on sale everywhere. Each to his own taste!
