Best Family locations in europe to relocate

Hi all,

Our family of 4 has begun thinking of relocating to Europe for a year long sabbatical. Short story is what are some of the better family locations to move to.

Some criteria that my wife and I have been discussing:
- mountains
- water
- family friendly
- good schools for the kids (English speaking primary school)
- good markets
- transportation

I will have EU citizenship however it’s not important to have a job, at least for the first year.

We’ve put Netherlands and Austria on our list but trying to identify other locales (cities) that perhaps we are not thinking about

I get that this is a loaded question but figured i’d throw it out there and see where it goes
