Buy another day of my friend's life.

Dear friends and InterNations community,

Last Saturday I met with one of my closest friends Anastasia in London.

Seeing her was very tough for me.

Anastasia now has stage 4 Ovarian Cancer, with a 5% survival rate.

After all the treatments, chemo, surgeries, etc. the doctors have run out of options and now she is running out of time. She has been recommended a private clinic in Germany that offers targeted and personalized treatment unavailable in the UK with an astonishing success rate. But the costs are simply more than her and her family can bear.

Refusing to let this disease defeat us, we put together a fundraising campaign yesterday. I wouldn't normally share this sort of thing, but she is an angel in our network of friends and sometimes no matter how difficult it is, you simply need to ask for help. So, this is me asking for help on her behalf.
