can i survive in Italy on my tiny USD salary?

Hi Everyone! I'm currently considering a position in Naples, and am looking to get a little insight on life there! I will be a civilian contractor, therefore attempting to live on a US dollar salary. I would love some insight into the cost of living (avg rent for apartments/ bills), best mode of transport (are scooters still a thing? ) And overall life in Naples! Any information is appreciate!
