Canadian moving to Edinburgh Scotland

I have been thinking for sometime now and have decided that I want to move to Scotland. I have been to Edinburgh once before and really liked the city. Im about to start reserching on places to live, jobs and all of that. if anyone has any advise or experiences please feel free to post. I have only lived in canada so I dont know much about work visas or anything about moving to another country, but I want to go. I am also looking at Glasgow.
