Carpentry class In 1st July 2017

Do you want to have a pair of chopsticks designed by yourself ? Want to know how to turn chopsticks in to art ? Welcome to participate in our activities, our teacher(Mr. Wang The founder of Dai zhu studio, he started to learn how to make carpentry by himself when he was a junior student in the university,
now he is a craftsman for masks) will teach you step by step design your own chopsticks !

The process of class

- The class will be taught in English and Chinese
- 2 hours for making chopsticks (step by step)

Introduction of Our Venue

The "Xinchang Warehouse", located at the old pier in the south of Bund, was originally a private granary for Huang Jinrong, the mob boss of the green gangs in Republic of China. He worked as a police officer in the French Concession and was the only Chinese in spector at that time. Relying on the Huangpu River,there is a full of historical sense of the old streets in the south of the Bund. The small roads here all have names related to the dock, such as "Wang dock road", "bambooterminal road". Although these roads have vanished already, the old warehouses that people can still see today, as bearing witnesses to the prosperous and bustling in old time in shanghai.

Cook in Shanghai is hiding in such a long history of the old Shanghai streets, engaged in culture, food related to foreign cultural exchange activities.

We will teach you how to make a pair of chopsticks in such an historic place, and enjoy the cultural communication between East and West.
