City Tour for Newcomers

I'm counterplanting the Idea to create a Group with members whom all are willing to, at the beginning of every study year, are willing to give Tours to newcomers in the city and show them all interessting and important places and buildings so they will have a mental map of where to go with their problems. Places like City-Hall to register, Bus and train and the use of the transportation for bus and train travel, the police station. But also where to go to find Your own kind of groups in the City. All different cafe's and different styles are placed at different places. Good and cheap restaurants, The City's Culture, Museum, and where to go for different kinds in Music. classic here, rock there, house, reggae, breakbeat there, etc. etc. Also Where NOT to go, and what ABSOLUTELY not to do is advise given in this Tour. SOOo,... I would like Your Ideas. People who want to give these kind of Tours ion their Cities, but also comments from people Who'd love to get a Tour like this when they start fresh in a new city!!!
