United World College Costa Rica would like to introduce its limited-enrollment short course for students which combines instruction by undergraduate admissions directors from the United States with culture and experiential learning in Costa Rica:
Geared Up!: University Counseling & Culture in Costa Rica
This eight-day program (June 29-July 6, Protected content feature actual admissions directors from competitive U.S. colleges as facilitators who will help motivate students to identify personal goals while helping them to learn the best ways to prepare themselves for competitive undergraduate admissions. By participating in this program students will also get to know Costa Rica through excursions aimed to familiarize visitors with the history, values and culture of this unique Central American country.
This program will provide students with an invaluable new experience in which they challenge themselves by learning through experience in an international context. This is great way for college-bound students to travel while preparing for the next important step in their lives.
