Considering Uruguay..any info?

I am considering a move to Uruguay from the USA. I am a simple person who knows how to hunt, farm. Live on little and enojy the heck out of it. I would like to be within at least an hour of a beach so i can relax, but id love to settle in a mountain/ forrestry town.

My big dilemma is I am 28, I have a bit of savings but nowhere near what i would be able to retire on (wishful thinking!) so i would need to work. I am not opposed to starting my own business, as I run one now, But i am not sure of any voids that need to be filled down there or how to even go about it.

Anyone with some info would be greatly appreciated.
