Cryptocurrencies; is it future or the dead end?

I have an unanswered question in my mind, as most of you already heard in someways that our simple tool for economy has a tendency to change shape..i see many news ranging from that even my own country that allows owning property by bitcoin to that China's-worldwide economic actor- prohibition to use it in any transaction..so the question is will this digital money is gonna beat up our statesmen pictured papers or is it gonna be crashed like Commodor 64 in time?
