Debunking Myths About Working in Saudi Arabia

Hello there! This is my first ever post here at InterNations. I hope you can help me regarding this. I often hear bad stories from Filipinos working in Saudi about stuff that they don't like in Saudi and are unbelievably practiced in the country. That made me curious because despite the bad reputation I hear about this country, Saudi Arabia remains a top destination for Filipinos who want to work overseas for decades now.

Some of those bad stuff I hear is that "Saudis do not interact with foreign workers whether in the office or in public", another is "It is never safe to go outdoors alone in Saudi".

Do you have any other misconceptions about Saudi that you can share and ideas that "debunk" these misconceptions?
