Denver to France

Hi all!

I'm looking to move from Denver to France. This is a life-long dream for me and I'd be doing largely for quality of life reasons.

My biggest concerns are residency and school for my 7 and 10 year old kids.

I'm a software developer who is not fluent in french, but jobs seem relatively easy to find. Are companies likely to sponsor a visa for me and my family? What are the rules surrounding residency permits based on employment?

My 10 year old speaks French very well, and my 7 year old is still learning. Will it be difficult to register them in the school system?
