Did Haiti need the earthquake???

It's so overwhelming to see the news about Haiti, but lets be honest, not that they were in better conditions before.

Sadly They are the poorest country in America and I have no doubt in the world, cursed with corrupted politicians (God Forbid me but it some of the parliament members passed away, eventually will be great for the Country)

Shouldnt all of us, specially developed countries feel terribly guilty to find a country in such poverty?? Werent they aware of what was happening in the other side where they were sunbathing their huge white bellies in Punta Cana, DOmenican Republic?

Hopefully Now that everybody is thinking about Haiti, finally they have some international help and can get rid of that curse of the extreme poverty/misery
