Discrimination or just Unfriendliness?

For many years I have left my home country and live abroad. I have a very strong German accent. In recent years I have been asked more often the question after they heard me speak, Where I come from... and then the reaction: "Aha! Now I understand (my accent, why I have that)! During my studies, a woman asked me (lessons were in German) if I understood the word "analysis"... What should I have answered? That I know some of Freud's texts? 😊 I just said yes...
A few years ago I visited my family, dressed normally, in jeans and T-shirt. I wanted to look around a shop where they sell leather backpacks. The saleswoman looked at me and afterwards said: "I think these are a bit expensive here". I took note of this and left...
I am amazed again and again in which form we are confronted with it again and again...

Have you ever experienced discrimination? If so, in what form and how can you deal with it? Or it is just "Unfriendliness"?
