Expatriation, proffessional evolution and advice?

There are times in our proffessional careers, that through no fault of our own we are obliged the evolve. Where do you find yourself? Today, due to the current ecomonic climate, I find myself in just such a position - with immediate effect , I am working on a new career plan and direction, with 12 years experience based around 3 key topics (Luxury Retail, people management and recruitement)I also have the added advantage of being based with easy reach of Paris and being completely bilingual!
