"Good news don't sell" - thoughts?!

Hi all,

I've recently had a conversation with a British publisher on quality news journalism. There seems to be an increasing number of newspapers/magazines that use sensationalism, exaggerated drama, as a way to grow sales, because "good news don't sell". Do you recognize this trend in media?

Bad news induce bad thoughts, which in turn may harm your health (a series of medical studies seems to back this up). Have you considered this aspect when you buy a newspaper/read or watch news?

While people are aware of the connection between the quality of the food they eat and how this may affects their bodies, shouldn't we also pay more attention to the quality of thoughts we "feed" our brain?

Just some food for thought... :) I'd love to hear what you all think!
