HELP! Mexico or the Ukraine?

Hi everyone!
I'm a relatively new member - living in Rome right now. I'm an English teacher and thinking of a move. I've had job offers from two cities but can't decide where to go. The decision is between Mexico City and Odessa, Ukraine and I need to make it quickly!
I don't know much about either and so would really appreciate info from those who do!
