Integration into the Swiss culture

As a business economics student in third year at the Haute Ecole d’Ingénierie et de Gestion (HEIG) in the Canton of Vaud, I am required to write a thesis. The subject of this study is the integration of international managers and expatriates working for multinationals in Switzerland.

The analysis of the challenges met to integrate into the Swiss culture provided me the basis to developed two recommendations regarding offers by special services providers: 1) an event where locals and international employees could discuss cultural differences and, 2) an event where locals and international people would discover the Swiss culture during activities. The purpose of this questionnaire is to analyse if the recommendations meet the expectations of international managers regarding their integration. The length of this questionnaire is less than five minutes and is conducted anonymously.
