“interest negotiator” vs. “value based” society

Do you want to question basic values of the society all the time and renegotiate, in your family, in your profession, in every human interaction? People wouldn't do anything else, just negotiating all day in an "interest negotiator" society.

The other side of the problem is the “value based” society. Are they too many “unquestionable” values or taboos, for example hundreds and thousands of “unquestionable” values, the society becomes rigid, it loses its dynamic power.

Which values should be the most basic, unquestionable ones in a modern society?
