InterNations members volunteer for a good cause!

Dear InterNations Members around the world,

We are happy and proud to annouce that last month, InterNations successfully started its first social responsibility campaign “Make a difference in December”! A total of 3,000 members in 15 different countries collected more than €14,500 and a combination of Protected content , books and toys at InterNations Events and Activities for less privileged people. “I was happy to participate because I truly believe that every little bit that we give to others, makes a difference“ said Ravina Boeckler, Munich Volunteer Group Consul. The Group in Munich fundraised money to renovate an accommodation for refugees, whereas the Beijing volunteers hosted a Christmas bazaar to support autistic children. Expats in Montréal regularly take part in the meals-on-wheels program of Santropol Roulant, an organization that provides elderly people with food. Ben Finkelberg, Volunteer Coordinator at Santropol Roulant is thankful: “I want to share our sincere appreciation and gratitude towards the InterNations community. We hope that this partnership, and events such as the one on Dec 10th, will continue in Protected content In Lima even the press reported about the charity initiative of the InterNations members, who supported the Westfalia orphanage in Peru.
