Is the peace achievable in Ukraine?

For the last 5 years a lot of bad things happened there: political upheaval, followed by separation of 2 regions - Crimea and easter regions of country and literally a civil war. Now, after 5 years and 3 presidents innocent people are still dieing. Now its a new president, who has a brand new strategy "no dialogue with separatists" will he be successful in bringing peace to the country or this confrontation will be continued?
