The trial of six Italian scientists and a former government official for manslaughter over the Protected content in L'Aquila has opened in the city.
My Sympathies for those who lost their loved and dear ones in the L'Aquila earthquake in Protected content , However in my personal opinion I feel it might not be correct to hold the six Italian scientists accountable for not being able to predict the earthquake.
Yesterday there was a earthquake in India where scores of people have died and earthquakes in general are the most difficult natural phenomenon to predict, even after so much scientific research and advancements.
If convicted it will seriously jeopardize the morale and also driving force of such scientists to work towards making this world a better safer place.
What do you think !! I would love to see what Italians on Internations feel about this in particular...
