Jamie Dimon, Tim Geithner and this morning's FT

Friends and other Internationers,

While reading this morning's FT, I noticed an interesting things. This morning's Lex Column articles - and for those who do not read the FT, the Lex column is the back page which includes a number of comment articles on the financial markets - includes speculation that JPMorgan Chase Chief Executive, Jamie Dimon, is in the running to succeed Timothy Geithner, as US Treasury Secretary. There are so many issues surrounding this -
1. He is a banker and people hate bankers.
2. The economy is a bit of a poison challis.
3. Dimon is too clever to except it.
4. The next Treasury will be a 4 year wonder (a bit like Condy Rice).

I would love to hear your comments on this
