As an Assistant Controller / Financial Analyst you will be involved in the overall financial tasks within the company. You will mainly support the Northern region in Europe within reporting, follow up and analyses. In your work you will have daily local as well as several international contacts, mainly within Europe. As Controller Assistant you will be the main responsible for the day to day follow up of our SharedServiceCentre in Holland. The finance department in Copenhagen also works as local expertise and advice in statutory and tax matters, and it is therefore basic knowledge to the Danish fiscal rules and regulations is needed. Furthermore you will have the responsibility for Danish statistics reporting and VAT returns.
You will report to the Finance Manager in Northern Europe and assist him in analysis, projects and business streamlining. The position requires about 10 days overnight travelling per year.
Who are you?
For this position you should have a Bachelor degree in finance or similar. You have at least 2 years of working experience in a similar position and are used to work with many different aspects of finance. We value experience from an international company. Excellent skills in one Nordic language and English are required.
You also have excellent knowledge of Excel and are used to work with ERPs such as Movex and/or SAP as well as business intelligence systems like Cognos.
As a person you are well-organized, energetic and enjoy challenges. It is important you can work independently as well in teams and are motivated by results. You feel responsibility, are easy to work with and have the ambition to grow with us.
