Leaving Canada behind.

The dream - in approximately nine years, sell our home, take the profits (under $100k) and leave Canada for somewhere else. While that may seem far away to some, I like to plan ahead.

We currently led a very simple life in Nova Scotia, nothing fancy here. We would ideally like to explore the world a bit, living the nomad life, and find somewhere to settle along the way.

So the question is - where? Where can two Canadians settle, work and live? My husband is a cook and I a travel cousellor, so somewhere that tourism industry employment is needed would be ideal.
