The Electrical Technician will be responsible for repair and maintenance of power generating modules and controls in a power generation plant setting. This individual will work closely with the Maintenance Manager on site as well as other Mechanical and Electrical Technicians to ensure all assets are properly operated and maintained at all times.

The Electrical Technician will have involvement in the following areas of responsibility:
1. Protected content for all maintenance activities of main engines and its auxiliary equipment.

Assists for all preventive and corrective maintenance activities of Engine – Generator sets.
Assists in the inspection, testing, troubleshooting, and rectification of mechanical system of Engine- Generator set.
Assists in the reconditioning and rehabilitation of mechanical equipment and components.

Responsible for the maintenance of plant mechanical auxiliary equipment such as: compressor, fuel receiving and transfer pumps assembly, welding machines, pressure washers, and battery chargers.
Perform minor repairs on the engine components, when needed.
Perform maintenance on the machines, power lines, transformers, distribution lines, etc.
5. Protected content for all maintenance activities of all low voltage equipment.
6. Protected content inspection, testing, troubleshooting, and rectification of trouble of all electrical controls and equipment.
7. Protected content for the maintenance and upkeep of low-voltage switchgears.

 3 years technical school and 10 years’ experience in a similar industry of which 3 years should be in a power plant setting for Lead position

The Mechanical Technician will be responsible for engine repair and maintenance of diesel gas reciprocating engines in a power generation plant setting. SHIFT MANAGER

REPOSINBILITIES AND AUTHORITIES
 Responsible for the efficient management of shift operation activities that will ensure the delivery of reliable power to the customers in accordance to the load dispatch and contract requirements.
 Responsible for maintaining the availability and the capacity to maintain the contract requirements of the plant performance.
 Responsible for the operation of the power plant and in charge when the Plant Manager is not present at the site. Assigned to care for the entire plant, this is not limited to just the equipment.
 Responsible for the operation of the power plant and is the Chief at the plant during their particular shift.
 Has the authority to verify and recommend solutions for the effective implementation of EHS management systems, to correct and/or prevent any non-conformity to the plant operation.
 Responsibilities consist of supervising, running and coordinating the plant operation in the most efficient way with regards to the Customer Contract Obligation.
 Has the authority to identify and record any problems relating to the plant output, process and EHS conformance; and initiate, recommend or provide solutions to non-conformance through designated channels.
 Responsible for the generation of any necessary reporting that gets requested by the customer and/or Corporate Office.
