live and work in Malaysia

Hi everyone. I am planning to relocate me and my business to Malaysia in the next few months. I am coming over on a familiarisation trip and will stay all of September.
I am carrying out research on the business side and would welcome any snippets of advice gratefully. I would however be appreciative of any input on the living side of the equation. I am in my mid 60’s and single, but not in any way ready to slow down so, what’s the life style like there, what’s the best description you can give to the social structure?

On another note, I will be looking for people to work with me. Social media marketing is my most important need to start with, so I will be pleased to talk to anyone with this knowledge.
